Will the 2019 qx50 headlights automatically turn on when the wipers are on like most of the other vehicles?


I don't see any related info in the user's manual.

You have DRL's, so that should satisfy any laws requiring lights.

But I'm pretty sure that if the wipers are on - whether in Auto or Manual mode, the headlights come on.
