I think we will see more contours on the sides of the QX50. I also like the C-Pillar detail. generally I think they need to push a bit further with the design, performance, and tech. That will keep it competitive with other cars in the segment.

Giving it a deisgn update will do great things. I want to see the reflexive C pillar that we see on the Q30 concept.

Panoramic sun roofs also seem to be the trend right now.
Hopefully they do it on the QX30 and that it looks just as fluid as the concept when viewed with the front and rear windshields. Hopefully the redesigned QX50 has the same fluid look

ok we can talk about the Q30 and QX30 but why would you want QX50 to look exactly like the Q30? If thats the case fire the design staff and just scale the design through out the lineup.

No thank you, BMW's and Audis already look like that and its downright boring. I hope it gets its own aesthetics, a mid size crossover would likely be the volume leader, no cutting corners!

The QX50 will have a bit more of a CUV stance instead of the Q30's more hatchback like stance. The QX50 is supposed to be more like the Macan in size and segment. I think you'll see more fluid contours on the sides of the vehicle whereas the current QX50 doesn't have nearly as many contours.

you think it will get any features from Q50? Perhaps DAS or dual touch screens?
Reading the skepticism and reviews and even failures with the DAS

I think Infiniti might reconsider the DAS.

Infiniti/Nissan tries to be innovative in the weirdest things. THey can't figure out how to make their V6s more fuel efficient and more reliable so they spend their money on making CVTs that don't work and steering systems that also dont work. To improve tech that has worked for many years.. If it aint broke.. Dont fix it.

why would infiniti want to compete with Toyota?

I think a diesel could be a big game changer in this segment. Right now the only diesels in segment are the Q5 TDI and the GLK BlueDiesel....
my mistake, i meant to say Lexus.
i think it's good if Lexus and Infiniti can be like BMW and MB, always in that continous battle.
Infiniti needs to catch up .

yea well MB and BMW have been battling themselves ever closer to the cliff. They're big a bloated now, their lineups are a maze of cars that try to hit every niche and end up increasing overhead.

I don't know why everyone craves perpetual growth. You know what else grows perpetually? Cancer, until it kills the host that is. What has happened to stability?
