@ 0:39 you guys will see what sort of cargo space you have to work with, it's clearly not a lot but enough for the average american family that would be using this vehicle, plus it has powered folding rear seatsI thought there would be a good amount of cargo space. Will it be a problem lugging around hockey equipment and other large items?
the problem with folding the seats is actually finding the lever to do it, so even if there was a button i think it would still have people hunting for it.I would be nice to have power folding seats because i always find it difficult to figure out how to fold down the seats properly in vehicles. It is less cargo space than i was expecting, but it should be enough space for most stuff i need to do. There just might not be much room to spare in those cases when you do have a lot of stuff.
I've never heard of the power folding seats before though. Is this a new thing, or am I just out of the loop?
What would you need the QX50/EX for?I'm interested in this vehicle because it isn't quite as big as Infiniti's biggest SUVs. Not too big, not too small, just right. Besides that I just like the look of Infiniti cars. Infiniti is a luxury brand on the rise, and I would be happy to jump on board.
Plus, the array of options that I will get to choose from will make me like a kid in an (expensive) candy shop.
you'll have to wait for a mid-cycle refresh or the next generation model, they're just renaming cars for now.I feel like the design could be a bit more updated along side the new Infiniti designs. The QX50 looks very similar in the front to the EX.
Funny that they are just renaming the cars for now, as if that has something to do with how much people will like them.you'll have to wait for a mid-cycle refresh or the next generation model, they're just renaming cars for now.
Well its better to rename them all at once then to rename them as thier mid-cycle refreshes come out. Imagine the Havoc trying to figure out which letters belong to who?Funny that they are just renaming the cars for now, as if that has something to do with how much people will like them.
I would vote for a bit of an update on the styling of the QX50. Something that is a bit more aerodynamic looking with a less round and more sleek front end. Headlights can stay though, I like those.
That will all possibly happen next year when the Q50's actually get a refreshed look rather than just carrying on a new badge.Funny that they are just renaming the cars for now, as if that has something to do with how much people will like them.

Q50's already have the new look, it came out as a totally new vehicle. Although it is the G sedan successor, the G sedan still sells in Infinti dealers alongside the Q50.That will all possibly happen next year when the Q50's actually get a refreshed look rather than just carrying on a new badge.
plus they have to keep each vehicle running on a consistent generation cycle so some cars wont be redesigned for a while, it just too bad this isn't happening sooner.Well its better to rename them all at once then to rename them as thier mid-cycle refreshes come out. And realistically Infiniti cant redesign all their cars at once, they have one design studio thats busy enough, Q50 just showed up, Q30 is in the works, i think next up is Q70 for a facelift, theres a halo car the Q90 in there somewhere, QX60 wont need an update for a while so at least thats a break for them but then they need to work on QX50, QX70 and figure out what will happen with QX80....
so yea, patience..
