.40 cent Jump per Gallon in Price in just 1 day after Labor Day . . . .

Having 4 vehicles in the Family Fleet that all Require Premium . . .

Outside of Chicago in Indiana where the Gas Taxes were at one time far less that Illinois and Chicago . . . .( They're not anymore drastically less, almost the same now )

We're now up to $5.99 a Gallon for 93 octane Premium ~ I Drive my VQHR 3.7 V6 '16 QX50 80 miles a day back and forth to work, 5 days a week ( 400 miles )

I drive aggressively around idiots and get about 18 miles to the gallon ~ So it now takes $130 a Week in Gas just to go back and forth to work ( 2 years ago it was $36 a Week )

That's $94 a week I would've spent elsewhere in the Economy that I'm not now because of . . . well . . . you know . . .

North TX is paying $4.49/gal for regular and $4.99/gal for premium. We also saw gas jump 35 cents in one day after Memorial Day. I can't bear to fill up from empty, so I usually fill up around half tank. Still $60

Thanks all for posting! Gas prices are out of control now. Do you think it will keep going up and for how long? I'm paying way more then a few months ago and I have to budget a lot just to make it by. It is really frustrating because I need my car to go to work and back home so it's not a choice for gas. Challenges of Life!😁

Good afternoon everyone. Well after a few fill ups, I can report that I am getting on average, 27 mpg. I know there have been some discrepancies with fuel economy in regard to what the manufacturer says and real world, so I monitored my own consumption. NOW.....the bad news ! I know you guys in the U.S. think you are suffering with gas prices well at $2.35 a liter ( $2.35 X 4 = $9.40 ) we are paying $9.40 a gallon here for premium. We have to use premium as per the manufacturer saying this is because of the turbo. I have to agree on that one. Most of our premium is 91 octane but there is the odd Sunoco still around with 93 octane and a higher price also. Our dickhead prime minister keeps inflicting a new carbon tax on the fuel every five minutes it seems !!! Well hang on for the big ride because things are only going to get worse. Thanks to Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Biden and George Soros, they want nothing for you and everything for them. Big tech is in this also. God Bless everyone out there that isn't awake......your going to need it !!

We are up to $4.79 a gallon for regular now, and over $5.00 for premium. I find myself alternating between premium and mid-grade, refilling at half tank intervals. It is only about $3 - $4 a fill up difference, but it adds up - and I'd rather spend it on a pint 🥛 than at the gas station!

Same issue here dude. I have a 2015 QX50 here in UAE, which was famous for its low fuel prices. But now times have changed globally. I pay approx 280 dirhams for a full tank, that translates to almost 85 USD. But the mileage I'm getting is pathetic, just somewhere between 6.8- 7.2 kmpl, drive is mostly city. Makes me wonder something might be wrong under the hood, or as we are in the peak summer here right now maybe the AC is killin' it. Tough times or as we say that in Arabic "Mushkil Marra".

Gas Price Update ~

Just this week ^ . . Look at the date stamp . . .

87 Regular went from $3.99 USD per Gallon to $4.25

Localized Electrical Fire at the Whiting, IN BP Refinery is the culprit for the mini - spike

Of course 93 octane went from $5.59 to $5.89

HOWEVER ~ one of the Local Casinos has been offering FREE Gas Cards ( or a Gambling Voucher ) as an enticement to get you in the door last month and this month . . .

I get $25 a Week / My Adult Daughter gets $50 a week - the giveaways are on Sunday -
They're Gambiling we'll stick around and give it back ~ we're disciplined and head right on out the door with $75 in Gas as winners

She gives me her card since she works 5 mile from home, me 25 miles - she doesn't fill up as much as I do

So I put in $50 of 93 Octane and top off with $25 of 87 Octane to get the 91 Octane balance as required on the Gas Door Sticker - can't tell the difference between a full tank of 93 Octane performance wise
