When I go in reverse and the split-screen (rear on left, top-down view on right) shows up, there are two red icons that appear on top of the roof in the image on the right. I have looked through both manuals and can't find out what they are. They look like some sort of warning. Does anyone have any ideas? Thx.

If I'm in the garage, and even though the sensor alert is 'green', it still shows that red alert icon.
Did a search or two for around view alert icons and nothing comes up.
I might take a pic of that and see what we can find out.
Everything seems to work fine, it just seems out of place to have such an aggressive icon when nothing is wrong....

Agreed. Thanks for replying. I may have something to do with parking sonar but I can't tell what it specifically means and when/why it comes up.

I was at the service center today but forgot to ask them about these icons. They are two red ones on the top of the roof of the right image when parking or pulling out of a spot. The left one looks like a few semicircle lines (like a "signal" icon) and the right looks like a red traffic cone. Does anyone have any ideas?

Its just warning people not to be stupid (not that its going to help). Basically telling you not to rely completely on the screen - take a look around before backing up.
