Hi, I own a 2017 QX50 Deluxe Touring - does not have Tech package, no lane departure assist, etc. Has 45k miles. Today I started getting a mystery noise. Every 2 minutes whether driving or sitting at a light there are three soft beeps. No warning lights, no apparant mechanical issues. This was occurring every 2 minutes continuously whether sitting, at highways speeds or neighborhood speeds. I drove 90 miles today and the beeping continued the entire friggin time. I checked everything I could think of on the head unit to no avail. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Your vehicle has proximity sensors that help you when parking (get close to something and the vehicle will beep). To see if the beep you are hearing is the same sound, put your vehicle in reverse and CAREFULLY back up to a wall.

If the sound of the beep is the same, your problem could be a bad sensor.

Your vehicle may also have lane departure sensors (mine does not), and this could also be a potential issue. These can be checked by (I know it sounds obvious) driving down a well marked road and drifting CAREFULLY toward one of the lines on the side of the road.

Either of these features can be turned off until you can get the sensor replaced, if you determine one of them is the issue.

I hope you find your problem - it sounds really aggravating!

Already answered concerning a qx50 but it can occur on a QX 60. The 3 beeps are telling you that you have a CD in the player. Remove the CD and the beeping will stop.

The three beeps sound really annoying! Did you take it to a trusted mechanic?
