This is my fourth infiniti. I've noticed that they are very prone getting rock chips on the paint. Anyone else have this problem? I got 3 of them yesterday on my hood and i'm bummed.

It is a Hostile Environment out there on the Roadways . . .

Rocks, Litter, and a Multitude of Miscellaneous Debris are bound to come contact with your vehicle at one time or another . . .

As for INFINITIs being prone to being rock Chip Magnets . . .

I'd say no more so than any other vehicle zooming down the roadway is at coming in contact with a road stone is.

Nissan and INFINITIs are know for their " Self Healing Paint "

Google it . . . However ~ it is more about scratches than stone chips

I have had this issue too. My front hood is covered with chips which I have said from the get go are unusual for my low mileage and driving, which is mainly city driving, not much highway. I have asked Infiniti about it multiple times, but I have a 12 year old Ford that has barely a chip in it whereas my 3 year old Infiniti probably has 10 chips in the hood. It's faulty paint for sure!
