Resetting the "Flat Tire Warning" message

1421 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  RKDauph
I am a new owner of a 2019 QX50 Essential, and it has the Flat Tire warning on dash. Tire pressure is good in that tire and all of the others. I have looked everywhere for instructions to reset this warning but none appears to be available. I found info for the Q50, but that will not work on this vehicle. Can someone help me or do I have to take it to an Infiniti dealer?

I recently went through the same issue with the tire warning. Ended up taking it to the dealer, and told there isn't a consumer reset.

Note - you also have the option of going thru a national tire chain to reset this warning. NTB & Discount Tire reset these warnings when they repair tires.
It's outrageous that they charge you to reset a warning light for something as simple as a flat tire that everyone is bound to get at some point.

I had the flat repaired at DT and they said they could not reset the light.

I was not charged for the computer reset at the Infiniti dealer.
