I wanted to share my recent experience with being rear-ended by an uninsured driver in February 2023. Despite the damage appearing minimal, my 2022 QX50 was in the shop for three weeks. Thankfully, I had an uninsured motorist policy through USAA which covered the damages.

The process was fairly smooth, and I only had to pay a $250 deductible. Insurance covered $9,231.83 for the damages and an additional $680 for a rental car. Overall, I was pleased with the outcome and grateful for having the uninsured motorist policy in place
.
I wanted to remind everyone of the importance of having adequate insurance coverage, even if you are a safe driver. Accidents can happen at any time, and it's better to be prepared and protected in the event of an incident.

Stay safe on the roads, and always remember to buckle up!

Whiskey locker... ammo bin.... both? Funny. Thanks for the insight. Left Los Angeles shortly after someone slammed in to me - no insurance and sued my insurance for chiropractic care and weed allowance - and wait for it - got $$$. Good riddance CA.
