That is a valid concern. I think Infiniti is already aware of the lack of space so I'm sure they would have that in mind when creating the hybrid version. The batteries usually go in the back under the trunk right? Maybe they can cleverly find somewhere else to put them, but I guess all we can really do is wait and see.My only concern is that if they try to fit batteries somewhere in the car, the cargo space will diminish even more from what is barely there.
You can't really have your cake and eat it too. I think that the majority of people are willing to sacrifice some cargo space in order to have a hybrid vehicle. And if you aren't willing to make that sacrifice, then you can just go ahead and buy the regular gas-powered version.Well if you look at Q50 vs Q50H cargo capacity does take a hit, Q50 has 352L of trunk space while Q50H drops to 247L. If QX50 gets a similar system we shoudl expect a similar 100L drop of cargo capacity or 3.5 cf. Not crazy, but an impact..
i believe he meant the roof top carrier.the cargo carrier or the hybrid?
you do make a good point but it should still be done, even if it's not in america, even europe or china would be good enoughI doubt infiniti would get in to diesel since they have invested much in to the hybrid systems already it wouldn't make any sense.
