Hello.........an update after 10 months of ownership.....2014 QX50

Mileage................16369 km...............10171 mi
Consumption..........10.5 L/100km.........22.4 mpg
Average speed........46.9 km/hr..............29.14 mph

From what I've read over the years, including re ex35,ex37, Qx50, the average expected consumption seems to range from about 18mpg - 22mpg, so 22.4 is not bad. That's driving through the a very bad Ontario winter on snow tires. Interestingly all my driving has been on "regular" gas, which was recommended to me by the sales guy at the Infiniti dealer. He said the only difference would be 1-2 horse power. I've got more than enough power with the regular gas. My driving habits include suburban & highway driving plus some limited city driving & I usually go over the posted speed limit by 15-20% but am fairly easy on the pedal at lights & stop signs.

did you track your mpg rating right from when you got it?
i'm thinking it might have been lower, like within the first few thousand since at that stage it's still breaking in.

Consumption has been constant from the beginning, ranging between 10.4-10.6 L/100km or 22.62-22.19 mpg. See figures below for 3 & 10 month periods.....

After 3 months.....
Distance travelled.........5482 km..................3406 mi.
Consumption............10.4-10.5L/100km........22.5 mpg
Average speed..............48.5 kph..................30 mph

After 10 months.....
Distance travelled.........16369 km...............10171 mi
Consumption................10.5 L/100km..........22.4 mpg
Average speed..............46.9 Kph.................29.14 mph

Pretty consistent & that's on regular (87 octane) gas.
