INFINITI as a Brand ~ Good Stuff ~ High Quality Components . . .

Like an Audi is to a Volkswagen . . . a Notch above Nissan, while still retaining the value and durability of a Nissan.

Curious as to why you'd want out of the Atlas so soon ?

Love the Atlas, however, there’s an open recall for them and there is no fix. So, while driving, the car could just apply the e brake and make you slow down/stop. If the fix was available, I wouldn’t even be looking. But, the part is made in Ukraine, so there is no timetable. People have had theirs in for 6 months. And VW is out of loaners. Kind of a shit show.

Dang . . .

Your Atlas is . . . a Causality of War

Perhaps some second generation QX50 owners can chime in with their experiences on the 2019 and above models.

I can attest to the previous generation ( up to 2017 ~ there was no '18 - went right to the new 2019s )

My QX50 ( assembled in Japan vs. new generation assembled in Mexico for North American sale ) has been trouble free with zero issues or need for service other than oil changes in the 3 years I've owned it ~

Purchased used as a 3 year old unit with only 6,700 miles - Warranty expired at 48 months . . .
Now with 25,000 miles ( limited wheel time with a long work from home stint )
Absolutely love the ownership experience of my 2016 325 HP 3.7 VQHR powered Rocket Hatch Wagon version of the ( Front Mid Ship ~ Engine behind front wheels ) J50L platform ( same as 370Z and Q50 Sedan ) Longitude Mounted - Traditional - RWD biased unless needed - Slap Shiftable Rev Matching Down Shifts 7 Speed Automatic that always seems to be in the right gear at the right time either in Sport or Normal Mode

Just reading threads on this site, the FWD 4 Cylinder 2019 and beyond QX50s have had some noted issues, but nothing super noteworthy that the dealership wasn't able to resolve.

Whatever may come of this saga with your Atlas, do keep us posted. Investigate and spend some extended test time with a QX50 and provide your feedback.

Happy Hunting for a QX50 ~ plenty off lease CPOs out there in the marketplace for your consideration.
