I am selling my Subaru Outback due to road and wind noise. Have considered a fear cars but wanted yo knoew about the QX50 as another cross. I know there were issues with the Q50 steering, do not know if this is in other infinities. I will look for a tech package. Any info would be appreciated. Since the !16 seems like more than a refresh, after my experience with the Subaru I think I want to stay with tried and true.

I`m not surprised you`re having that issue with your subaru, they are known to be louder than other cars even without what`s identified as a real issue. Have you noticed that issue you`re having as a common one?

Yes, it is a common issue, at least on the subaruoutback forum there are many complaints. I had my first '15 replaced in March, the new one is much better just not ok for me... so I am moving on.

I think to some extent you have to expect to see that sort of feedback on forums since folks are more likely to report a bad experience or issue than they are of a flawless experience.

But at least we have online communities to serve as valuable resources.

Glad to hear you're moving on, were the folks at the dealership at least easy to deal with? I know sometimes it can be hard to get issues resolved with them.

I bought the 2016 because of the longer wheelbase and more back seat room. Plus it just looks better longer.
It also has a new nose and LED running lights (more like the Germans).
I did not look at the '15 MY, because I was almost going to buy the '16 Acura RDX V6 until I happen to drive the QX50 (It was was refreshed for '16--the RDX).

BTW, great financing (and lease as well) currently (Nov..'15).

Congrats! Were you able to get any discounts on your purchase? I know some people tend to negotiate and try to knock down the price as much as they can.
