Hi!

I am new to the forum and would like some advice from those who may use the qx50 as a family car. I am a new mom and am looking to upgrade my car for a little more space. Does the qx50 have enough storage space (specifically for a stroller and baby gear?)We have heard from a few people that this vehicle is slow to take-off. Is this your experience as well? Thanks in advance.

Congratulations New Mom ! & Welcome,

The 2019 to present day QX50 is really a " Mid Sized " Cross Over

It might be a bit cramped if lugging a stroller and other gear but certainly not out of consideration.

Just a suggestion, when shopping the QX50, also consider the QX60, it is larger.

The newest QX60 was just revised and modernized.
The Larger QX60 is assembled in Tennessee and only about 3,000 a month are being produced, so it is rare, but I do see them finally on the INFINITI Dealer's lots now.

Don't rule out the previous QX60 version either. it has a very durable 3.5 V6 motor, and they're plentiful in the used marketplace with low miles, and tremendous value for a 7 seater.

Do keep us posted on your hunt for your new Mom & Baby Hauler.
The INFINITI brand is a Luxury one, and has the overall value and reliability as Nissan, but in an upscale image akin to Lexus, but at a better price than all other Luxury Brands.

Bring your equipment to test fit. We did the same thing when we bought our QX56/80. May seem weird to the sales associate but it is a big purchase and need to make sure of such a large purchase.

I admit the QX60 would be a better choice for a family-friendly vehicle. ie. In the middle row on the QX60 you can mount the car seat and still be able to get in the 3rd row if needed. One of many features that make it friendly for families.

Good luck!!!!!
QX56/80 owner and future QX50 owner.

We bought a 2019 qx50 as our grand daughter would be a frequent occupant and all her stuff that comes with her. Looked at Acura rdx, cx-5, and a few others and Qx was the best option in our opinion. The sliding rear seat makes the cat seat a breeze. Plenty of space.

re pickup acceleration, no issues. Nice and peppy.
