Hello. I've been driving my 2017 QX50 RWD for 3 years now and I still really like it. It's paid off and out of warranty so I am at the point where I'd like to start doing some mods, so I'm really interested in what everyone is doing to theirs. I'd like the car to handle flatter and improve the exhaust tone. Please send me what you've got!

Welcome !

Great to see another Enthusiast here who appreciates and understands what a Gem they have.

Sadly, for as awesome Performers as the 1st generation ( up to 2017 ) QX50s are . . . .

The After Market Mod Marketplace is a barren of Perfomance Mods specific to our J50 & J50L platforms.

Use the search the function here and you'll see the frustration that we face when there's a boat of load stuff for the Q50 Sedan, and Q60 Coupe, but next to absolutely nothing when it comes to performance mods our Hatch ~ Wagons.

A few here have fabricated custom exhausts to aid in the exhaling of the mighty VQ 3.7

Some have investigated coil overs or attempted lowering to assist in handling

Don't let the lack of activity here keep you from posting and sharing what your plans and outcomes are as you go forward on your quest to Mod your '17 RWD.

@LQQX50 thank you very much for getting back to me. So over the last few months I’ve been kind of on a mission. I’ve gone and test driven several Q60s and for some reason I just don’t like they way they perform. I think on the outside they look darn sexy, but when I drive them I find the transmission to shift slowly, the turbo to kick in too late, and handling to be soft. My wife said the Q60 is like that really hot girl in high school that you finally get to sleep with and find out that she’s horrible in bed. So over the next few weeks I’m gonna do as much research as I can to look into doing some mods to my QX50 to make it perform better. I will post my findings here. There’s just something to be said for a solid performing vehicle that I can also stick a surfboard inside of, and two bikes on the back (can’t do that with the Q60).

Hi,

Here are the small changes I made to my QX50 2017 AWD, "K&N Intake 69-7078TS" with silicone fittings, the sound is great, I installed a Pedal Commander PC51, it feels amazing on the throttle and I removed the resonators from the exhaust pipe.

"Pedal Commander is NOT compatible with Infiniti vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control or predictive forward collision warning." Assuming you don't have that correct ? I was looking at these the other day and messaged them letting them know mine isn't even active as in it's disconnected .. let me know thanks!

I don't have "adaptive cruise control or predictive forward collision" on my QX50, so my Pedal Commander works fine, you can install a "Sprint Booster", it also works fine, but without Bluetooth.
