About two weeks ago we (siblings) picked up 2014 AWD QX50 for my mother. It was a 5,000 mile "new" demo and we got "A" title and a very attractive price. I'm retired so I can say my mom is no child any more. This QX50 replaces her 1998 Volvo S70 T5 which was a mid 14 sec ET car. We wanted something for my mother that is all weather that can also get out of its own way if required.
I only have one question if I may? My Ford SHO's manual also called for premium gas but the requirement was based only on feeding the owners ego as the engine/car ran just fine on regular. The general consensus is that almost every vehicle sold in the USA runs just fine on regular.
Any thoughts on feeding the QX50 regular vs. premium gas?
Thank You
