Congrats on the new ride! I also have the 2019. With the InTouch services app, I can remotely lock and unlock my doors and that’s basically it. Sometimes it takes forever to do it so I seldom use it but can see how it can come in handy. I believe you’re able to upgrade on the app. There doesn’t seem to be much benefit in upgrading IMO. I feel like the InTouch services and the interface was/is a poorly executed, half-baked idea. It came on much older cars and they haven’t improved it much today. I guess the stolen car locator could come in handy. In my case, my car already came with GPS tracking installed by the dealer I purchased it from so I can see where it’s at anyways.
As far as CarPlay, there is a pretty good solution by Unavi for $650. I meant to purchase on Black Friday when they were doing a $99 installation special but it totally slipped my mind so I guess I’ll have to wait for the next sale.
