We picked up our QX50 2 weeks ago. We have experienced some issues and wondering if other have any of them and if they have the fixes.
1). Liftgate not working on occasion with the footwave underneath.
2) Door handles unresponsive when unlocking. Had to use key to unlock
3) Screen froze on phone call and would not disconnect
4) memory on radio stations losing its memory has happened twice
5) the auto steer constantly constantly tries to cross center line into oncoming traffic

This is my wife's car and I havent drove it much and this all has happened to me minus the door unlocking issue. If any of you have had these issues and had it fixed can you let me know what was done? The nearest dealer is 182 miles one way and it is a leased vehicle. We only get 833 miles a month and I dont like having 364 of those miles for a service trip if they say " Cant be replicated" and not fix it.

I've had mine just a couple of weeks also. Of your list, the only problem I had was with locking/unlocking the doors....I really confused it when I was trying to figure out how to unlock various doors, between what opening the drivers door just by gripping the handle and opening others with the button on the door handle. I ultimately had to use the key fob to unlock it. No problem since then.


I have noticed some of the bumper warnings come on when nothing is there, but they go off quick. Otherwise no real issues. I did go in for something I left with the dealer and they said there was a software update to the control screens, which they installed....not sure if that has any impact on your list.

The only option I can tell you is to take it to the dealer. Since the car is new, all that is covered by the factory warranty. My screen had issues and froze too. This was a known issue and Infiniti released a software update that they installed for me and haven’t had any issues since. If they can’t resolve all the issues for you, there is a lemon law.

Well after 3 months of waiting for dealer to see there were any fixes for our issue they came and got our QX50 and dropped off a loaner. After a week we got it back and were told there were to fixes applied ( the ones I did) and that none of the other issues I complained about happened while in shop. So within 24 miles the steering went bat Crap crazy. Took me right and went off onto left shoulder. and then on a slight left car the steering started to follow road and then just went straight. Nothing fixed.

They came and picked up car for service (168 miles one way) had it a week and did nothing to it. The auto steer will not stay between lanes. Constantly takes you off to the shoulder or into other lane. Had it several times veer into oncoming traffic. They wont do anything. My wife will not use it. When I drive it I email them. After 7 emails I am hitting them with the lemon law.
