Curious if anyone has experienced any issues with the front bumper/under cover falling off. We were driving down the highway at 75 MPH and the bumper/under cover just fell off. We thought perhaps it was a flat tire because it was so sudden, but we were dragging the entire front bumper along the highway in front of the car. We did not hit anything on the highway, so it seems like some sort of a design flaw, but I was initially told by phone that this probably wouldn't be covered by the bumper to bumper warranty which seems ludicrous!

Say what? Bumper to bumper doesn't cover the bumper they say? Fight brother, sounds like gaslighting.

My thoughts exactly! Took it to the dealership to be told the $3,000 repair is NOT covered by the bumper to bumper warranty because a bumper doesn't just fall off without hitting something. Except, we did NOT hit something - we were driving down the highway when it literally fell off the front of the car! They are escalating to Infiniti Consumer Affairs for resolution so we shall see where this goes. Obviously something failed - not sure what, but a bumper should not just fall off the car! This will be my last Infiniti if this isn't covered!

If you had impact that caused it, there would likely be evidence of that unless you were unable to retrieve the thing. My bumper was fine till an employee at the service center backed it into something. No one told me but I spotted it immediately. It was cosmetic but still! Thankfully they were good about replacing the whole thing. Hope the whole saga ends well for you.

Thanks! Me too! Yes, you are correct that there would be residual damage if I hit something hard or large enough to pull off the entire thing. Of course that isn’t the case!

Saw another Thread a few months back about the bottom front undercarriage shield coming off a 2019.

Seemed like that was a case poor attachment of that shield or damaged by a parking curb earlier and it just gave way later on . . .

Go up the ladder beyond the Dealership - Good Luck in your claim for the Warranty Coverage
