What is everyone's experience with brake pad life?
my rears needed replacing after 30,000 kms and now my fronts are at that point at only 50,000km.
is everyone experiencing this interval? seems incredibly low. i replaced with some quality pads so hopefully the life sapn will be much longer than the cheapos infiniti spec'd these with. at 20k kms, the after market rears i installed barely look used.

Getting ready for first brake change

I'm at 40K miles, and just had the brakes looked at while in for service. I have 4mm remaining on the rear, and 5mm on the front. Not bad - a lot of highway driving.

I plan to replace both with Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic Brake Pads when the time comes. These have worked great on my 3.5L Altima that gets driven WAY harder than the QX50.

Rear Pads going out on my 2016 with 27,800 miles ~ YES . . .

First repair in 3 years of ownership, and 21,000 miles ( of MY driving ) upcoming - besides ~ Oil Changes and Air Filter Replacement

Do quite a bit of hard Braking in traffic maneuvers and mildly aggressive driving to get around traffic and idiots lolly~gagging on the Road . .

Based on the this Search of the topic ~ appears the Gen 1's Rear Pads do wear prematurely . .
