Hope someone can help me out

A few months baby I bought a 2019 qx50. For the first time today, I pressed the brake hold button. It worked, when it was time to dis-wngsge it I pressed on the button and it fell off.
Thank-you it dis-wngsged.amd I was able to drive.

I am fearful of how much it might cost to put it back. I don't think any wires are broken.

Thinking of taking it to my local garage first for a quote then see if I need to take it to the dealer.

Has this ever happen to anyone? Advise? Thoughts?

Hello all,

Took.the car to the dealer, they'll be able to fix it. Thankfully both the part and labor under warranty.
