Hi there.

I recently purchased a 2016 QX50. Is there a way to disable the automatic door locking feature? This drives me NUTS!

I'm in the same boat. I understand that you can choose an option that either has the door locks stay on or be off when you turn off the car. What I really want to do is have the auto lock feature disabled all together. I would know how to do this on my previous Audis, Not familiar with Infiniti. I hope that if all else fails, a tech at the Infiniti dealer can do it. Its annoying

We're taxing my memory in terms of the exact sequence of steps, but try this:

Turn car on w/out engine on (press start button twice w/out pressing brake).
Press and hold the lock button on driver's door for ~5 seconds.
Start the car and drive it - see if it worked.

If that didn't work, try doing the same thing in ACC mode (press the start button only once w/out brake).

If that doesn't work, try the above but press the Unlock button.

Pretty sure its something like that.
