Airbag light flashing, code B00A0

I have a 2017 qx50 with a flashing airbag light. Dealer originally cleared the low voltage error code after I replaced the battery as i thought it was a voltage issue and it tested very low. But light started flashing a couple days later. Brought it back to the same dealer and it's giving code B00A0, Now they say I need a new OCS module/passenger seat at $8700. They say it's normal wear and tear even though I rarely have a passenger in my car and it's strictly a commuter vehicle. Nissan won't budge on the astronomical price. I did find some seats at a salvage yard, but how easy is it to install?

Tonight for shits and giggles, I did the diagnostic airbag test and the airbag light flashed a code 12, low voltage, again. Is this still the OCS sensor/passenger seat, or could it be something simple like a fuse???

Also, the dealer told me that the drivers side airbags would still deploy in the case of an accident, just not the passenger. Can anyone attest to this? I made sure to get it in writing but since the light is actively flashing I am still uncomfortable driving the vehicle.

Welcome to the QX50 Forum.
This is a First ~ Never heard of such an instance that you're unfortunately having.
Seems like you're on the right financial track by getting a used seat replacement over the $8,700 option.
