So has anyone tried to add a sub to the compartment in the back in the cubbie space under the carpet? Can anyone tell me where a good spot to pull a rear speaker signal would be ? Thanks for anyone who can help.

I haven’t installed a sub in my 19 QX50 but if you pull the carpet up completely in the rear you’ll see the amp and sub. You can tap into that if you want to add an aftermarket sub and amp.

I don’t know if I would use the space you want for a sub, would get way too much rattle from the plastic.
