We just recently picked up a 2017 QX50 for my wife. Last Friday I got the windows tinted. I was going to get the front window tinted just to block the UV.



Has anyone had the front window tinted and how did it turn out? Any issues with how it makes the vehicle operate?

I got all my windows tinted. Even the windshield. I think I got it at a 70% and the rest as dark as possible. No issue except for I had a magnetic strip that would allow me to go into a carwash but it wouldn't read once I got the tint. Not sure if it will affect anything else.

Thanks Gduno82. I was concerned about the adaptive cruise and lane departure and whatever else this thing is capable of having issues. I googled and found nothing. The tinter was telling me it really fouls up the Subaru for some reason. He was a little leary of putting anything on the front. I just want it for the UV protection and to maybe to knock a little heat down also.
