Hi everyone,
I have been spending some time hopping around the site reading various posts on QX50 exhaust upgrade options. There is a lot of discussion of how our vehicles have "similar" parts to the Q50 and G37, However, I have not found any Infiniti or aftermarket part numbers referenced.

I have also been surfing the 'net to see what is offered specifically for our QX50s ... and found nothing other than universal fit items that can be adapted (shudder).

So ... my question is: does anyone know of bolt on exhaust upgrades, either muffler back, cat back, or right from the manifolds? If so, please share manufacturer and part number, so we can experiment!

All I can add . . . is that the Pipes ( #10 ) in the diagram, seem way too small in circumference, and are rusty, and unsightly as they appear under the rear axel . .

Might suggest inquiring with a Custom Exhaust Fabricator ~ you know ~ the experienced guy over at Midas or CarX that knows how to Bend ~ Torch ~ Shape ~ Hang ~ Fabricate something exclusive to our QX50s

Ordering a Boxed Part for a G37 of Q50 - Q60 from a Z-1 or Stillen - like Performance Parts Vendor and trying to stuff it on to our QX50 might not be the way to go.

Employing an Exhaust Artisan to do their Custom Thing might be our best bet.

I kind of recall ( maybe on the Nissan NICO Site ) a thread about this subject stating that only certain parts would work on our extended '16 & '17 J50 platforms and that extensions and hangar modifications were needed.

This question has been bouncing in my mind for a year, have come across nada. Need to find an exhaust artisan as you suggest! Or at least think about it for the next 6 months.

And whilst customizing the enhanced Exhaust ~ Add Dual Tip Outlets ~ and Some Custom Body Panels ~ Slap on some beefier rubber on Bigger - Wider Wheels . . .. and Rear Spoiler on top of the rear Spoiler . . .
Plastidip some of that plasticized Aluminum on the Roof Rack . . . Making Plans . . .
