2016 QX50 compass

I recently purchased a used 2016 Infiniti QX50. I can't find the compass anywhere. Isn't it supposed to be on the mirror?

There's a tiny compass on the navigation map but it's really too small to be much use.

Can anyone help me locate the compass on my 2016 QX50?

thanks!

Yeah . .

It helps when out and about in daylight and the Sun's position can give you a clue based on time of day as to which direction you're heading . . .

Otherwise . . . perhaps use that Compass App Thing on yer smart phone
Welcome to the QX50 Forum by the way . . Tell us about your impressions with your new to you 2016 . .

Besides the fact that it lacks a " Real " Compass . . .

How are you enjoying the driving dynamics ?
I really like my used 2016 QX50, it has the power my Honda CRV never had.

So, are you telling me that this vehicle does not have a "real" compass?

thanks
Here's what it does have . . .

The GOOD:
325 Horespower
Down Shift Rev Matching 7 Speed Transmission with Economy and Sport Modes
Quality Fit and Finishes as to be expected from a Japanese Assembly Plant ( 2017 model years and earlier )
Traditionally Mounted Engine Driving Power to the Real Wheels ( Fronts only when needed on AWD Versions )
Lot of Standard Equipment for a Luxury Branded Crossover / Performance Vehicle
Available all around view Cameras
Excellent Reliability
Fun Factor to Drive

The BAD:
No Real Compass ~ well, we're talking 2008 Technology here . .
Can't think of too much else . . .
Ok . . . one more thing
The added cost of Premium Fuel recommended for the Fun Factor to Drive

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, all well and good, but it is still shocking to me as a first-time Infiniti owner that a 2016 "Luxury Branded Crossover" does not have a compass display on the rear view mirror (or anywhere else). It seems to be an odd omission for a high-end vehicle. And yes, I do have a compass on my iPhone so I guess I need to buy an iPhone holder for my QX50 and call it done.
