Infiniti had a great 2014, breaking records with global sales of more than 186,200 vehicles. While the global sales success is something to be excited about, the Middle East region particularly showed some great growth for the Infiniti brand.

Infiniti saw sales increase by 26% in the Middle East region in 2014. That is more than double the pace of other luxury brands' growth in the Middle East region. This success is partly due to a general increase of luxury goods consumption in the region. Regional luxury consumption was up 11% in 2014 due to an increase in consumer spending power.

Infiniti saw 7,062 deliveries in the region, and just last month the brand opened 3 showrooms last month in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. There are some specific Infiniti models (mostly SUVs) that were the lynch pins to Infiniti's success.

The QX80 saw a sales increase of 46 percent over the year, delivering 1,421 vehicles to customers. The QX50 saw sales rise 67% up to 562 vehicles, and the QX60 saw a sales growth of 22 percent.

“2014 was a fantastic year for Infiniti in the Middle East. We became the region’s fastest growing premium automotive brand due to our expanding and exciting product line-up, supported by the success of the all-new Q50 that was one of our most popular vehicles,” said Juergen Schmitz, managing director of Infiniti Middle East.
