2014 Key Fob replacement - programming

I can find several QX50 Key fobs on ebay, but as far as programming the key, they only mention lock smiths or the dealer.
Anyone have any experience with programming QX50 key fobs, or will I need to go to the dealer/lock smith to get it programmed?

I come from the old days where there was a sequence of turning the car off/on with the key, then pressing the key fob...
